Lorain REVS22K
The Lorain County REVS22K is presented by the Lorain County Veterans Service Commission as a fundraising race to support efforts to end veteran suicide. The event is the fourth annual running and takes place in Elyria, Ohio at Ely Square Park.
Distances offered include:
- 22K (USATF certified, includes a 13.1 mile split time)
- 11K
- 2.2 Mile run, walk, or ruck
- Relay options
This edition represents the U.S. Coast Guard. The 22K course is USATF certified for both 22 kilometers and 13.1 miles. Cash prizes are awarded to the first, second and third overall male and female finishers in the full 22K distance. All participants receive a long sleeve shirt, a glass, a patch and a finisher medal, with an optional 3/4 zip available for purchase.
Packet pickup is at Foundry Kitchen and Bar at 525 Broad St, Elyria, on the day before the race and on race day. A post race reception and awards ceremony are held at the Foundry Event Center, with post race food provided by Foundry and appetizers available to bib holders. Parking is available around Ely Square at nearby lots and a parking garage off Temple Court Street. The course features a section of middle avenue with flag draping and on-site heat and shelter.
