Event Details
The Lorain County REVS is an event with distances of 22K, 11K, and 2.2 miles. Participants can run, walk, or ruck. The event takes place at Ely Park in Elyria, Ohio.
Course and Features
The course is USATF certified for the 22K distance. Participants in the 22K will also receive a 13.1-mile split time. A feature of the course is a flag-draped section on Middle Avenue.
Awards and Extras
Cash prizes are awarded for first, second, and third overall male and female finishers in the full 22K distance. All participants receive a long-sleeve t-shirt, a glass, a patch, and a finisher medal. An optional 3/4 zip top is available for purchase.
Post-Race
A post-race party is held at the Foundry Event Center. Runners have a ticket on their bib for post-race appetizers. An awards ceremony is held after the race.
Beneficiary
The event is presented by the Lorain County Veterans Service Commission to benefit the cause of ending veteran suicide. The 2026 event honors the U.S. Coast Guard. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
