Event overview
The Longleat race day at Longleat, Warminster, Wiltshire (BA12 7JS) comprises two events:
- 10K
- 2 Mile Fun Run
The 10K entry is limited to 1,600 runners and the 2 Mile is limited to 100 runners. Minimum ages are 15 years for the 10K and 8 years for the 2 Mile. Medals are awarded to all finishers and free race photos are provided. Prizes are given to the first three male and female finishers in both events; the 10K also awards first male and female in the 40 and 50 age categories. Free parking and on-site refreshments are available.
Course and entries
Both races start from in front of Longleat House and use the estate’s private, traffic-free roads, with a short 400 m section on public highway near the Bath Arms Public House before the final mile downhill to the finish. The route is described as undulating to hilly with a notable climb that is tackled twice and a final downhill along Lodge Drive into the finish.
Entries are not available on the day. Once an entry is accepted refunds are not possible, but transfer or deferral of an entry is allowed if requested at least 48 hours before the race. Dogs are not allowed on the Longleat Estate.
Costs and kit
Advance prices and on-the-day options are published; a race T-shirt is available in unisex sizes for purchase in advance for £10 and at the event for £15 (if stocks allow). Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
