Longleat 10k
The Longleat 10k is a race around the private roads of the Longleat estate in Warminster, Wiltshire, with start and finish by Longleat House. The course is largely traffic-free within the estate, with a short 400 m section on public highway by the Bath Arms Public House before the final mile into the finish.
The route is described as undulating to hilly and includes a significant climb that is tackled twice : once shortly after the start and again near the end. After the second climb runners follow a downhill stretch along Lodge Drive toward Longleat House and the finish. The event is organised by 209 Events and the 10k entry is capped at 1,600 runners. Entry prices are shown in the event offers and the race is open to entrants aged 15 to 120 on the event date.
There is no cost for runners or spectators to enter the Longleat Estate on race day. Participants should expect estate roads, varied elevation and a mix of uphill and downhill sections throughout the course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
