Event Overview
The Long Beach Snowflake 4 Mile Race is held in memory of Joseph F. Farrell. It takes place on February 7, 2026, starting at 9:00 AM. The event occurs rain or shine.
Location & Registration
The race is based at the Long Beach Catholic Regional School, located at 735 West Broadway in Long Beach, New York. Bib pickup begins at 7:00 AM on race morning in the school's gymnasium. Early bird registration is $38.98 (including a processing fee) until February 3 at 4:00 PM, after which the price increases to $49.33. Registration fees are non-refundable. Participants who register three weeks before the race can have their name printed on their bib.
Course & Rules
The race starts and finishes on New York Avenue and the boardwalk. The course is described as an accurately measured, flat, and fast route. Baby strollers are not allowed on the race course.
Awards
Awards are given to the top overall male and female finishers, the top wheelchair finisher, and the top three male and female finishers in each of the following age categories: 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80+.
