Lone Wolf 135
Lone Wolf 135 is a solo trail race of 135 miles run as ten laps of a 13.5 mile loop. The course is a double-track, ATV-passable trail that does not cross itself and is centered on a lake on private property. It includes more than 20,000 feet of total climbing and allows trekking poles.
The race is strictly self supported on course. There is one full aid station at the loop start/finish each lap and additional water stops on the loop at mile 6 and mile 9. Outside help of any kind is prohibited: no crew, no pacers, and no non-runners in the aid station or personal staging area. Runners receive a randomly assigned, labeled 4 by 8 foot personal staging space near the start/finish that only they may access; gear for the event must be staged there before the race start and may not be retrieved from vehicles during the race.
Entry requires at least one prior 100 mile finish. The 2026 field is limited to 25 runners. A strict 48 hour cutoff is enforced. Finishers receive a single buckle; trophies are awarded to the first male and first female finishers. Carrying a phone is suggested for emergencies, but the event emphasizes independent, self-reliant racing. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
