London Summer Walk
The London Summer Walk is organised by Transition Homeless Project and takes place at the Royal Artillery Barracks in Woolwich, London. The event supports efforts to prevent poverty and homelessness and is run in partnership with the Ultra Challenge series.
The walk starts alongside Woolwich Barracks, a short walk from the Elizabeth Line, DLR and Overground. Routes follow looped and linear paths into central London and through Greenwich, with options for longer and shorter distances.
Available route options:
- 10 km shorter route
- 25 km route taking in Greenwich
- 42 km marathon looped route
On-course arrangements include a lively warm up, support throughout the route, and rest stops offering snacks and drinks. The finish area features a BBQ meal, a bar and music. All participants receive a medal and a t-shirt.
Registration is processed through the Ultra Challenge website and a standard registration fee applies. Participants can register under Transition Homeless Project as their chosen charity and select the listed sign up options. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
