All routes start and finish inside Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and use surrounding closed roads. The course passes several London 2012 Olympic venues, including the ArcelorMittal Orbit, London Stadium (Olympic Stadium), London Aquatics Centre, Copper Box Arena, Lee Valley VeloPark and Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre. The organisers describe the roads as traffic free for the race.
