Logan Triathlon - Cache Valley Super Sprint Triathlon
The event takes place at the Logan Aquatic Center in Logan, Utah. It combines a pool swim, a bike leg on paved country roads that go to Mendon and back, and a run on paved routes along the Logan River Trail beneath a canopy of trees. The Olympic distance requires completing each discipline twice: swim twice, bike twice, and run twice.
Race services include timing chips mounted on the back of race bibs with live results available via smartphone or tablet when Wi Fi is working. Electronic race packets are emailed five days before the race, and photos are provided free for personal use and typically available within five days after the event. Participants receive a NextLevel multiblend shirt and a custom 4 inch finisher medal.
The course is fully supported. Aid stations on the run course are at miles 1 and 2 for the sprint, and at miles 2.5, 3.5, and 4.5 for the Olympic distance. Other race features include bib numbers for bike, body, and helmet, a saggin wagon, overall plaques for top three male and female finishers in each distance, and age group awards arranged by participant counts.
