Log Jammer Marathon, Half Marathon & 5K : Sportspectrum, Shreveport
The event takes place on November 22, 2026, with race headquarters at Sportspectrum, 6970 Fern Avenue, Shreveport, LA 71105. The race starts and finishes in the Sportspectrum parking lot. A local pediatric dentistry practice is the title sponsor.
Distances offered:
- 26.2 Miles Marathon (including a wheelchair division)
- 13.1 Miles Half Marathon (including a wheelchair division)
- 13.1 Miles Marathon 2-person relays - each team member runs 13.1 miles
- 3.1 Miles 5K (including a wheelchair division)
The marathon course runs through the South Highlands neighborhood with some hills in the first half; after mile 10 the route becomes flatter. Finishers in each race receive medals. Post-event food and beverages will be served at the awards ceremony.
Entry fees vary by date for each event; relay teams are not eligible for race day registration. Packet pickup occurs at Sportspectrum on Thursday November 19, Friday November 20, Saturday November 21, and on race day morning with a cutoff before the race starts. There will be no packet mailings.
Time limits and rules: the full marathon has a 6.5 hour limit and the half marathon has a 3.5 hour limit. No dogs, inline skates or skateboards are allowed on the course.
