About the race
The Log Hill Hustle is a community road run held on August 23, 2026 at the Divide Ranch and Club, 151 Divide Ranch Cir, Ridgway, Colorado. The event is hosted by Fortuna Tierra Club and features fully paved, gently rolling courses that begin and end at the Divide Ranch and Club with views of the San Juan Mountains and Cimarron ranges.
The event offers multiple distance options:
- 5K
- 10K
Both running races and hand-cycle divisions are available. Routes are clearly marked and include a water station. Volunteers and course monitors support participants along the way. Baby strollers are allowed; dogs and bikes are not permitted.
Proceeds fund local education initiatives. Scholarships are provided for Ridgway High School graduates and alumni, and a scholarship is awarded to an Ouray High School graduate. In 2026 the event awarded $17,000 in scholarships and provided $2,000 in teacher grants for pre-K to 8 educational materials.
Packet pickup is available at the Farmer's Market in Hartwell Park on the Friday before the event and on race morning at the Divide Ranch and Club. A continental breakfast, awards ceremony, and door prizes are part of the post-event activities. Parking is at the Divide Ranch and Club mailboxes with overflow parking south of the RM Timing tent; car-pooling is recommended.
