Locust Cider Run

The Locust Cider Run is a running race held in Milton, New York. This event marks the first 5K hosted by the Locust Grove Fruit Farm and Locust Grove Brewing Co. The course covers a distance of 3.1 miles through the local community.

The race route begins at the Locust Grove Pick Your Own Stand and concludes at the brewery. All proceeds from the event are dedicated to the Locust Grove Fruit Farm and Locust Grove Brewing Co. Scholarship. This scholarship is designed to support a senior from Marlboro High School who intends to pursue a career in agriculture or a skilled trade.

The event takes place on a farm that has been managed by eight generations of the Kent family. Participants will run through the landscape of this multi-generational agricultural site. Following the completion of the course, a beverage is provided at the brewery finish line.
