Lochore Aquathlon : Lochore Meadows Country Park, 21 June 2026
Lochore Aquathlon takes place at Lochore Meadows Country Park on 21 June 2026. The event includes multiple aquathlon races for participants aged nine and above and forms part of the British Triathlon Youth and Junior Super Series for selected age groups. Age is determined at 31 December 2026.
Races include multi-race formats for Youth A and Youth B Junior categories, combined result formats for TriStar 2 and TriStar 3, and a single race for TriStar 1. An Adult Sprint Aquathlon offers an 800 m open water swim followed by a 5 km run. Wetsuits are advised for swim legs and may be mandatory if water temperature is below 14°C. Several swim events use a deep water start.
Scoring in multi-race events uses points by finishing position with the two best results scoring full points and the worst result scoring 50% points. DNS and DNF are scored as last place for that race. Some TriStar waves also act as selection races for the Inter Regional Championships and results may contribute points to the National Triathlon Series.
Triathlon Scotland organises the event and provides inclusion guidance and equipment support where possible. Entries may include an optional small donation to the Triathlon Trust.
