About the race
Fife Running Festival at Lochore Meadows is an in-person running event held in Crosshill, Lochgelly KY5 8BA, UK. The organiser provides chip timed, course measured races with on-course km markers, hydration stations and course marshals. Finishers receive a medal and entrants can expect goody bags with sports nutrition snacks, music at the venue and an instructor-led warm up. Race numbers and timing chips are collected at the registration desk on the day of the event.
Entries are handled through the official booking partner Let's Do This and race communications are sent to registered participants in the lead up to the event. Race photos are made available online after the event and are free to view. Age guidance follows Scottish Athletics recommendations: 5k runners should be 11 or older and 10k runners should be older than 15. Typical cut-off times are 1.5 hours for 5k and 10k events and around 3 hours for half marathons.
Dogs are not permitted on the course and standard headphones are not allowed, though bone conduction headphones are permitted. Entry and change policies apply: refunds are available up to 30 days before an event, transfers or vouchers up to 7 days before, and a small range of late-transfer or virtual options is available within a few days of the event. Online entries typically close two days before the event and on-the-day entries are sometimes available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
