Lobo Cancer Challenge
The Lobo Cancer Challenge is an annual community fundraiser held at UNM Lobo Football Stadium in Albuquerque, New Mexico. All funds raised go to the University of New Mexico Comprehensive Cancer Center. Event sponsors cover operational costs, so 100% of participant-raised funds directly support selected cancer programs, including patient treatment, advanced research, community outreach, and education.
The event day in September features multiple activities for different ages and fitness levels.
- A 5K Run/Walk.
- A Stadium Stair Challenge.
- A Cub Pack Fun Run for children ages 1-10.
- A 25 Mile Bike Ride.
- A 50 Mile Bike Ride, noted as having a new route.
- A Virtual Challenger option.
