The Bertman Run takes place on Saturday, January 17, 2026, in Folsom, CA at the Historic Folsom Station North Park and Ride (951-975 Leidesdorff St). The event raises funds for Blood Cancer United and is held in honor of the race director's father. The event offers in-person and virtual participation.

Course and logistics
The course is an out-and-back route on the American River Trail starting at the park and ride lot. The trail remains open to other parkway users and runners and walkers are asked to stay to the left on the bike trail. There will be an aid station at the 10K turnaround and another at the half marathon turnaround; there is no aid station on the 5k course. There is no official bathroom at the race start; bathrooms are available on the bike trail.
Packet and bib pick-up is day of only at the Park and Ride lot. There are no official timing chips; times will be recorded manually. Goodie bags, bibs, and morning treats are available at check-in. Medals are awarded to all participants, and awards are given for 1st place male and female in each distance. Medals and awards will not be mailed if not collected on race day.
