L.L.Bean 4th of July 10K and 1-Mile Family Fun Run/Walk
The event takes place on July 4, 2026, in Freeport, Maine, with the event hub at Old Town Meeting Place, 5 Park Street. This is the 49th annual running of the L.L.Bean 4th of July event. Proceeds support the YMCA of Southern Maine Casco Bay Branch.
Two distances are offered:
- 10 km loop starting and finishing in downtown Freeport.
- 1 mile flat out and back starting near Memorial Park on South Street.
Registration windows and fees are specified for each distance. Registration for the 10K opens March 9, 2026 and closes May 31, 2026; the registration fee is $35.00. Registration for the 1 Mile opens March 9, 2026 and closes July 2, 2026; the registration fee is $5.00.
Course descriptions note a downtown loop for the 10K and a short flat out and back for the family run and walk near the race hub in Memorial Park.
