Llanelli 10K and Half Marathon
The Llanelli 10K and Half Marathon is a road race series that starts and finishes in Llanelli. The courses run mostly on flat terrain along the Millennium coastal path and include sections on closed roads. The coastal path route overlooks Llanelli Beach and provides views across the Loughor estuary toward the Gower peninsula.
For 2026 the half marathon start is located at the Tata Steel Trostre site and the 10K starts and finishes at Festival Fields. The two fields merge on course at approximately mile 6 and at the 2 km point that enters North Dock, with all runners finishing at Festival Fields. Shuttle buses are provided for spectators and half marathon runners.
The event is UKA licensed and provides Brecon Carreg water on course. Finishers receive a bespoke recycled zinc medal. The race information notes an early bird entry option starting at £28 and highlights the use of closed roads and the coastal path for the majority of the route.
