Llanelli 10K and Half Marathon
The Tata Steel Llanelli Half Marathon and 10K take place in Llanelli and use a largely coastal route on closed roads. The event offers two distances and starts and finishes in Llanelli.
- 10K 6.2 miles
- Half Marathon 13.1 miles
For 2027 the organisers are finalising a new course. The route will, for the most part, run on flat terrain along the Millennium coastal path and include some undulating sections on closed roads. The coastal path overlooks Llanelli Beach and offers views of the Loughor estuary and the Gower peninsula.
The event is UKA licensed. On-course provision includes Brecon Carreg water and a bespoke recycled zinc medal for finishers. Entry categories listed by the organisers include general entry, elite entry and a corporate challenge; general entry is shown as starting at £32 plus fees.
Spectator and safety options include live tracking via smartphone features, WhatsApp location sharing and Strava Beacon for runners who enable those services. The official 2027 route maps and final course details are being prepared and will be announced by the organisers when confirmed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
