Llanelli 10K & Half Marathon
The Llanelli event offers two measured road race distances that run largely on flat terrain beside the Millennium coastal path and on some closed roads. Runners follow coastal sections with views over Llanelli Beach, the Loughor estuary and the Gower peninsula.
Starts are separated: the half marathon begins at the Tata Steel Trostre site and the 10K starts at Festival Fields. Runners from both races merge at around mile 6 and at a 2 km point that enters North Dock. All participants finish at Festival Fields. Shuttle buses are provided for spectators and half marathon runners.
The event holds a UKA licence. On-course provision includes Brecon Carreg water and organisers supply a bespoke recycled zinc medal for finishers. The event listing notes an Early Bird entry price starting at £28. Live-tracking options for supporters are recommended, including smartphone location sharing, WhatsApp live location and Strava Beacon.
