Llandudno Half Marathon and 10 Mile
Llandudno hosts two road races that start on the promenade opposite Venue Cymru and follow the seafront. Distances offered include:
- Half Marathon
- 10 Mile
The route runs along the promenade to the Victorian pier, continues to Rhos on Sea and returns to Venue Cymru along the same promenade. The course is mostly flat with the exception of the "Little Orme" half mile hill, a short climb near the turning point.
Race headquarters are located inside Venue Cymru where tea, coffee and snacks are available. Parking in Llandudno is plentiful with public car parks and pay and display provision; the closest parking is at Venue Cymru, along the promenade and in the Victoria centre on Back Madoc Street.
On course there will be drink stations at approximately every three miles and at the finish; runners who need additional fluids may bring their own bottles. Toilets are available inside Venue Cymru, with portable toilets on the promenade and at the halfway turning point. First aid cover is provided by a professional medical team and first aid stations are positioned at the start, finish and on course.
All finishers receive a technical t shirt and a bespoke medal. Prizes are awarded for overall placings and age categories. Headphones are not permitted except bone conducting types under UK Athletics rules. Littering outside designated areas may lead to disqualification.
