Llandudno Half Marathon and 10 Mile
The event offers two road race distances that start and finish at Venue Cymru in Llandudno. The courses run along the seafront promenade to the Victorian pier, continue toward Rhos on Sea, and return to Venue Cymru along the same route.
Distances
- Half Marathon
- 10 mile
The route is mostly flat with a roughly half mile ascent at the Little Orme. Race headquarters are inside Venue Cymru where tea, coffee and snacks are available. Toilets are provided inside Venue Cymru, with additional portable toilets on the promenade and at the halfway turning point. Drink stations are positioned at approximately every three miles and at the finish.
First aid is provided by a professional medical team at the start, finish and on course; runners are asked to complete medical details on the back of their race number. There is a baggage area at race HQ; organisers advise not to leave valuables. Parking is available in public car parks around the town, including the Venue Cymru car park and promenade parking; most car parks are pay and display.
Some road closures will be in place but not all roads will be closed to traffic; runners should follow marshal instructions and keep to the left unless told otherwise. Headphones are not permitted except bone conducting types. Technical t-shirts and a bespoke medal are provided to finishers, and prizes cover overall and age category positions.
