Lizard Peak Scramble 10K
The 10 km Around the Mountain course is part of the Lizard Peak Scramble Trail Runs in Lake Havasu City, AZ. The route for 2026 was newly mapped to take participants around the Lizard Peak Mountain Range and out to Balanced Rock Cove.
The course uses a mix of single track, technical sections, gravel washes and some elevation changes. Organizers note the 2026 route includes fewer extreme sections than the 2025 course. The 10 km course does not go to the summit of Lizard Peak; the 5 km Scramble is the only event that reaches the summit.
On this route runners will come face to face with the blue green waters of Lake Havasu at Balanced Rock Cove. Registration for the 10 km opens on 2026-05-11 and closes on 2026-05-18. The listed registration fee for the 10 km is $45.00.
The event takes place in Lake Havasu City at 7206 Dub Campbell Parkway. Event rules state that no pets are permitted in the vendor or race corral area and no animals are allowed with participants wearing an AZAK Event Co. race bib. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
