Lizard Peak Scramble 10K
The 10 km Around the Mountain race is part of the Lizard Peak Scramble Trail Runs on October 17, 2026 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. The course follows a newly mapped route for 2026 that circles the Lizard Peak mountain range and reaches Balanced Rock Cove.
Terrain includes single track, technical sections, gravel washes and noticeable elevation changes, though organizers note the 2026 course is less extreme than the 2025 route. Along the way participants will come near the blue green waters of Lake Havasu at Balanced Rock Cove.
This 10 km event does not include the summit scramble. The summit route is reserved for the separate 5 km Scramble event that goes to the rocky top of Lizard Peak. Course marshals will monitor participants on the route, and there are no aid stations listed for this course.
