About the race
Havasu on the Rocks Trail Runs take place in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, at 7206 Dub Campbell Parkway on 03/27/2027. The event offers multiple trail races that move from desert terrain to the shoreline of Lake Havasu.
Event distances include:
- 13.2 Miles Pilot Rock Half Marathon, desert to lake via single track and old mining road.
- 13K Pilot Rock 13k, single track and mining road to Pilot Rock beach.
- 7K Jaegers Run 7k, single track and mining road through a desert corridor.
- 1K Kids 1k Spring Sprint, short trail dash for children.
Courses feature single track and sections of old mining road with modest elevation changes. Runners in the half marathon and 13k reach the Lake Havasu shoreline near the Pilot Rock Lighthouse; the half references the lighthouse at about mile 9.75 and the 13k at about mile 4.9. The Jaegers Run 7k passes through habitat where bighorn sheep may be seen. There is a four hour time limit for race completion; the half and 13k are not intended to be hike events under that limit.
One 7k is dedicated in memory of a past participant, and proceeds from that race will be donated to a charity to be determined. Absolutely no pets are allowed; a zero tolerance policy applies in the vendor and race corral areas and to participants wearing race bibs. For the kids 1k, parents must accompany children under six and are encouraged to assist younger runners. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
