Participants in the Half Marathon follow a USATF certified course that crosses both over and under the London Bridge. The route provides views of Lake Havasu and the surrounding desert landscape. There is a 4.5 hour time limit for the Half Marathon, while the 5K is walker friendly with a 90 minute time limit. Those participating in the Lighthouse Challenge must complete the Half Marathon in less than 3 hours and 5 minutes to begin the 5K on time.
The Doggie Dash 3K is held at London Bridge Beach and is open to participants running with or without a dog. The course starts and ends near the island dog park and includes a finish line party with dog-friendly vendors and treats.
Located at London Bridge Beach, the event typically takes place in March when average high temperatures are in the 70s with predominantly clear skies. Volunteers can earn future race credits for their service. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
