LiveWell 5K Walk/Run/Roll & Celebration
This event is the third annual LiveWell 5K Walk/Run/Roll & Celebration hosted by LiveWell, an initiative of the Pruitt Center for Mindfulness & Well-being at UW-Superior. LiveWell works to support mental health in Douglas County and the greater Twin Ports area by creating activities that foster connection and reduce social isolation.
The event takes place at Barker's Island Festival Park, 14 Marina Drive, Superior, Wisconsin 54880. It is a community 5K marked as a fun run and will not be chipped or timed. Participants may turn around early if needed. The roll portion is inclusive of all wheeled devices; wearing a helmet is strongly encouraged as a safety practice. Children may participate when accompanied by an adult throughout the evening.
The post-event celebration includes a picnic-style buffet catered by ChartWells and a designated seating area for dining and socializing. A DJ will provide music and live commentary. Outdoor yard games available for guests include Corn Hole, Badminton, Kubb, and Bocce. The event is free and open to the public. Registration closes August 6, 2026 at 11:59 PM.
