50th Anniversary Running Event
The Saunders 10k is a historic road race held in Rye, New Hampshire. Celebrating its 50th edition, the event takes place on the third Thursday in August. This year, the live competition is limited to 500 participants. For those unable to attend the in-person event, a virtual race option is available as part of the anniversary celebration.
The live race features a modified version of the original course that travels through the town of Rye. The start and finish lines are located on Central Road, specifically near Partners Bank at 211 Central Rd. Parking for participants is available in a large field across from the bank, situated near the turn onto Locke Rd.

The event is endorsed by the New England 65 plus Runners Club. Performance is recognized through cash prizes and a limited number of special commemorative T-shirts, which are awarded to winners in various age groups.
