Live Oak Odyssey : O'Neill Regional Park, Trabuco Canyon
Live Oak Odyssey is a set of fixed-time trail running events held on an approximately 2.75 mile loop in O'Neill Regional Park, Trabuco Canyon, California. Participants choose from timed options and run as many loops as they complete within the event limit.

The loop gains roughly 500 feet of elevation per circuit and reaches a maximum elevation near 1,349 feet. Terrain includes uphills and downhills on both single-track and double-track trails. The park is heavily wooded with coast live oak and sycamore trees; surrounding hillsides feature cactus, wild buckwheat, sagebrush and chaparral with scrub oak, buckthorn and mountain mahogany. The course is marked with pink ribbons.
There is one main aid station at the start/finish that services runners after each loop. Typical supplies listed for the aid station include sweet and salty snacks, PB&J, fresh fruit, potatoes, soft drinks, electrolyte hydration from Tailwind Nutrition, salt capsules from GU Energy, and anti-chafe skin salve from Squirrel's Nut Butter. A designated tent is provided for drop bags near the aid station. Crews may use the main aid station area but must remain at their vehicle while assisting runners. Parking at the park requires a $5 fee and OC Parks passes are not valid.
Race rules note that a full loop must be completed for it to count, once a participant checks out they cannot re-enter, and no pacers or pets are allowed on course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
