About the race
The Turkey Trot Sunday in Irvine is scheduled for November 29, 2026 at Colonel Bill Barber Marine Corps Memorial Park in Irvine, CA. The event uses a shared paved path and is an open course; participants should be courteous to other pedestrians, runners, and cyclists. The organizer notes this is a private reservation and it is not endorsed or sponsored by the City of Irvine.
Distances offered include:
- 5k out and back
- 10k two 5k loops
- 15k three 5k loops
- Half marathon three 4.36 mile loops
The course will be marked and consists of out-and-back loops on the shared path. Park restrooms are approximately 200–300 m (about a 5 minute walk) from the start/finish/check-in area; another restroom is about 0.62 mi (1 km) away at San Marco Park. There is a path from the race route into the park with a bathroom about 200 m (0.12 mi) from the shared path. Parking is free in the park lot. The start/finish and check-in are located near the back corner of the lot closest to the stadium/softball field 1, adjacent to the path.
