Event overview
The Turkey Trot takes place on November 30, 2025, at Bill Barber Memorial Park, 1 Civic Center Plaza, Irvine, CA 92606. The event is part of a race series and offers multiple distance options organized by ABWR. The course is an open, marked route on a shared path with out-and-back loops. Participants are asked to be courteous to other pedestrians, runners, and cyclists.

The 5k is an out-and-back route. The 10k is two 5k loops. The 15k is three 5k loops. The half marathon is three 4.36-mile loops.
Registration, amenities, and logistics
Registration includes a custom finisher medal, a drawstring goodie bag, free photos and free videos. Results will be posted on the organizer website within 12 to 24 hours after the event. Assorted snacks and samples are provided. Entry prices listed for the event are $25.99 for the 5k, $30.99 for the 10k, $35.99 for the 15k, and $40.99 for the half marathon. Group discounts are offered for five or more people through the organizer.
There is free parking in the park lots. Park restrooms are about 200-300 m (approximately a 5 minute walk) from the start/finish/check-in area. Another restroom is about 0.62 miles (1 km) away at San Marco Park. The event is a private reservation and is not endorsed or sponsored by the City of Irvine.
