About the race
The Turkey Trot Sunday is scheduled for November 29, 2026 at Colonel Bill Barber Marine Corps Memorial Park in Irvine. The event offers multiple distances on a marked course that uses the shared path through and around the park.
- 5 km out and back route
- 10 km two 5 km loops
- 15 km three 5 km loops
- Half marathon three 4.36 mile loops
The course is open and follows out-and-back loops on the shared path; participants should be courteous to other pedestrians, runners, and cyclists. The event is a private reservation and is not endorsed or sponsored by the City of Irvine.
Park restrooms are approximately 200–300 m from the start/finish/check-in area. An additional restroom is about 0.62 miles (1 km) away at San Marco Park; a short connecting path links the race route to that park.
Parking is free in the park lot. Age group awards are available for pickup at the race and will not be mailed. Registration includes custom finisher medals, drawstring goodie bags, free videos, live results at finish, free photos and cinematic highlight reels, trophies and achievement badges, Ascend Index ranking and Ascend Crew features, a free event app, and an assortment of snacks and samples.
