Live Like Leah Memorial Race
The Live Like Leah Memorial Race is a community memorial running and walking event at Wilson Farm Park, Concession Pavilion, 500 Lee Road, Chesterbrook, PA 19087. The event program includes the following distances:
- 5K
- 1 Mile Walk
Registration opens May 11. Registration for the 5K closes July 31 and registration for the 1 Mile Walk closes August 15. Entry fees follow a tiered schedule: $25 until July 31, $35 until August 15, and $40 on race day. Registrants who register by July 26 are guaranteed a t shirt. The race will use professional timing provided by Bryn Mawr Racing Company.
Awards are offered for overall and age group placings with the top three male and top three female finishers recognized. Age group categories listed for awards include 0-12, 13-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to Capernaum Camp, a branch of the Young Life ministry. The camp provides accessible outdoor experiences at YL Lost Canyon in Williams, AZ, including activities such as ziplining, ropes courses, and water slides, and aims to foster friendships, belonging, encouragement, and spiritual growth.
