Live Like Laken 5K
The Live Like Laken 5K is the third annual run/walk hosted by Cherokee Recreation and Parks at Hobgood Park in Woodstock, GA on October 24, 2026. The event raises funds for The Laken Hope Foundation, which supports organizations that promote safety awareness for women, provide aid and tuition assistance for nursing students, and support children’s healthcare.
The event offers an in-person 5K that is chip timed and a virtual 5K option. The course is certified for entry into the Northside Hospital Peachtree Road Race and a course map is available. Race day registration is offered; registrants receive a packet with a t-shirt while supplies last, a running bib, and additional items.
Awards are given to overall male and female winners and to the top three male and female finishers in multiple age divisions, beginning with 10 and under and extending through 71 and older. The event will proceed rain or shine unless officials determine conditions are unsafe.
Dogs are permitted when kept on a leash. Registration policies state there are no refunds unless a participant enrolled in the Refund Protection Program, and race management reserves the right to cancel or modify the event for unfavorable conditions or acts of God.
