Live Like Laken 5K 2026
Cherokee Recreation and Parks will host the 3rd Annual Live Like Laken 5K on October 24, 2026 at Hobgood Park in Woodstock, GA. The event raises funds for The Laken Hope Foundation, Inc., which supports organizations that promote safety awareness for women, provides aid and tuition assistance for nursing students, and supports children’s healthcare.

- 5K in-person (chip timed)
- 5K - Virtual
The race is certified for The Northside Hospital Peachtree Road Race. Safety products and program information focused on personal safety awareness will be available at the event. Dogs are welcome when kept on a leash. Day of registration is offered and participants receive a packet with a t-shirt while supplies last, a running bib, and other items. To be guaranteed a t-shirt, registration must be completed by October 8.
Awards include overall male and female winners and medals for the top three male and female finishers in each age group, with age brackets from 10 and under through 71 and older.
