Event Overview
The Little Su 50K is a human-powered winter wilderness race located in Big Lake, Alaska. This event takes place in February on marked trails through remote and frozen landscapes. Participants navigate a course that offers views of the Alaskan wilderness across traditional lands of the Dena’ina and Ahtna Dene people.
Course and Conditions
The race is held on a variety of trail conditions typical of the Alaskan winter environment. Parts of the route cross land owned by the Mental Health Trust Authority. The event occurs alongside a longer 100-mile race, but the Little Su focus is specifically on the following distance:
