The event offers two distances staged from Phegley Park in Morrow, Ohio. The course begins in the village, then continues out and back on the paved Little Miami Scenic Trail along the Little Miami River. The trail is a former railroad right of way and has little to no elevation change. The half marathon is USATF certified (OH10029PR). The 10K follows the same route with a turnaround about 3.45 miles into the race.
Aid stations are positioned at miles 2.5, 3.25, 5.5, 7, 8.5, 10.75 and 11.5. Port-a-johns are available on the half marathon course at miles 5.5 and 8.5, and gels will be provided at the mile 7 station. Chip timing is provided using a disposable bib tag by a professional timing company. All finishers receive a finisher medal and a gender specific technical race shirt; finish line food is provided and professional finisher photos are taken.
Pre-race packet pickup is scheduled the day before at a local running store in Loveland; race day packet pickup is also available at the event site. Parking is available on city streets in surrounding neighborhoods. Awards are presented to overall male and female winners and to the top three in standard age groups, and the race enforces a finishing time limit.
