Little Canada Canadian Days 5K Run/Walk
The Little Canada Canadian Days 5K Run/Walk is a chip timed community race held as part of the Canadian Days festival. The event has been part of the festival for over 40 years and is presented under the festival theme "Canadian Days-Where 50 Years Feels Like Home." It is scheduled during the festival on August 1.
The USATF Certified course starts and ends at Pioneer Park on Desoto Street. Pioneer Park is located at 2950 Centerville Road; parking closest to the race start is on the east side of the park off Desoto Street. Race packets (t-shirt and bib) are available for pickup at Spooner Park, 350 Eli Rd, on Friday, July 31, 11 am - 2 pm. Race day packet pickup and registration are also available.
Participants receive a T-shirt and a pancake breakfast at Spooner Park following the race. T-shirts are guaranteed to the first 300 registrants, with preferred sizes guaranteed for those who pick up packets early. Ribbons are awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers in each age category. Awards will be given to first place in the following age groups: 11 & under; 12-17; 18-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70-79; 80+. Official race results will be posted at canadiandays.org.
