Canadian Days 5K Run/Walk, Little Canada MN
The Canadian Days 5K Run/Walk is a community road event held as part of the Canadian Days festival. The USATF certified course starts and ends at Pioneer Park on Desoto Street and follows local streets through Allen Avenue, Edgerton Street, Keller Parkway, Arcade Street and LaBore Road before returning to Pioneer Park.
The event has been part of the festival for over 40 years and welcomes runners and walkers of all ages. Participants receive a T-shirt and a pancake breakfast at Spooner Park, 350 Eli Road, following the race. T-shirts are distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis at packet pickup.
Early packet pickup (T-shirt and bib) is available at Spooner Park on Friday, July 31, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. Packet pickup is also available on race morning at the event. Dogs are not allowed on the course.
Awards are given to overall finishers and to first, second and third place in each age category: 11 and under, 12-17, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 plus. Ribbons are presented to the top three finishers in each age bracket. Double dipping is allowed. Official race results will be posted at canadiandays.org.
