Little Canada Canadian Days 5K Run/Walk
The event is a chip-timed 5K run/walk held as part of the Canadian Days festival. The course is USATF certified and both begins and ends at Pioneer Park. Pioneer Park is listed at 2950 Centerville Road, with parking nearest the start on the east side of the park off Desoto Street.
Participants receive a T-shirt and a pancake breakfast at Spooner Park after the race. T-shirts are guaranteed to the first 300 registrants, and preferred sizes are guaranteed for those who pick up packets early. Race packets, including t-shirt and bib, are available for pickup at Spooner Park, 350 Eli Road, on the designated packet pickup day before the event.
Awards are given to first, second and third place finishers in each age category. Age groups for awards are 11 and under, 12 to 17, 18 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, 70 to 79, and 80 and over.
