Event overview

The Little Big Run is scheduled for Saturday, January 24, 2026, at the Winston YMCA in Jacksonville, FL (221 Riverside Ave, 32202). It is the event's ninth annual running and raises funds and awareness for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Florida (BBBSNEFL) to support one-to-one mentoring programs.

Entry and pricing

Standard entry fees listed are $40 for the 5K and $25 for the 1 Mile. Youth pricing is adjusted at checkout: participants 12 and under are charged $10 and participants 13-18 are charged $20. Sizes for custom event shirts are guaranteed if registered by December 31, 2025.

Race services and amenities

All participants receive a race t-shirt, a custom finisher medal, and a bib for timed results using a chip system. January activities include a DJ and a food truck; each participant will receive a complimentary food truck item. Packet pickup is on race day between 7:30 am and 9:30 am.

Awards

5K awards are given for Men and Women in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places. Finisher certificates will be emailed for age groups 12 & under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. The 1 Mile has youth age-group awards for 0-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, and 13-18. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
