Event information

The Lismore Samson Fitness Challenge takes place on 7 March 2026 at Hepburn Park, Holland Street, Goonellabah, Lismore, NSW, Australia. The event is organised as a four-person team competition made up of nine timed challenges. The challenges include a farmers walk with jerry cans, a prowler push, a 130 kg truck tyre flip, a burpee challenge, a sled plug, a complex obstacle course, a 1 km swim and two 2 km runs. The quickest team to complete all challenges wins the Samson title.

Format, categories and fundraising

Teams are entered through a team captain who must set up the team and pay the team fee before members register. Team member entries are listed as free when the team captain has already paid. Categories include adult teams, a junior category for competitors around 16 to 18 years old, and a teen category for competitors aged 14 or older. The event is a fundraiser for the charity Our Kids, which purchases paediatric equipment for the Children’s Ward and Special Care Nursery at Lismore Base Hospital.
