Event Overview

The Lismore Samson Fitness Challenge is a team competition for four people. Teams compete in nine different physical challenges.

Challenges

The event's challenges include a farmers walk with jerry cans, a prowler push, a 130kg truck tyre flip, a burpee challenge, a 2x2km run, a 1km swim, a sled pull, and an obstacle course.

Location and Date

The event takes place at Hepburn Park on Holland Street in Goonellabah, Lismore, NSW, Australia. It is scheduled for March 7, 2026.

Categories and Registration

Registration is organized through team captains. There are three main team categories:

  • Samson Team: For general participants.
  • Samson Junior Team: For competitors aged 16 to 18 by 31 December 2025.
  • Teen Team: For competitors who are 14 or older by the event date.

The team captain must set up the team and pay the registration fee before other members can join. Team member registration is free after the captain has paid. Fees apply for team captains.

Purpose

The event is a major fundraiser for Our Kids, a charity that raises money to purchase paediatric equipment for the Children's Ward and Special Care Nursery at Lismore Base Hospital.
