Lindstrom Loppet 5K : 38th Annual
The Lindstrom Loppet is a community 5K run/walk held in conjunction with Lindstrom's Karl Oskar Days. The 3.1-mile course starts at Lakes Free Church in Lindstrom and winds through local neighborhoods before returning to the church.
Registration is offered in two categories: adults and teens (12 and older) and kids (under 12). Fees differ by category and online registration deadlines affect T-shirt availability; online registrations completed before June 30, 2026 are guaranteed a race T-shirt on race day, while later registrants may need to pick up shirts at Goldstar Printworks.
Race supplies issued in packets include a T-shirt, timing chip, race number, and informational materials. Packet pickup is available the day before at Chisago Lakes High School (door #1, 29400 Olinda Trail, Lindstrom) or on race day at the race start line (Lakes Free Church, 29620 Olinda Trail). Race-day registration will be handled digitally and a QR code will be available at the race site.
The event is held rain or shine; severe weather may delay or cancel the race. Strollers are allowed. Pets, rollerblades, skateboards, and bicycles are not permitted. No individual awards are given. No refunds are provided for inclement weather, injuries, or global events. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
