2026 Lincoln Track Club Spring Forward Run
The Lincoln Track Club Spring Forward Run is an annual event held in Lincoln, Nebraska. The event serves as a preparation race for participants training for the Lincoln Marathon or Half Marathon. All race distances begin at Antelope Park, with the main hub located at the Auld Pavilion Recreation Center on Memorial Drive.
The event offers three distinct distances for participants:
- 10 miles
- 5 kilometers
- 1 mile (run/walk)
The 10 mile course follows a route along Normal Boulevard, Myrtle Street, and 56th Street before reaching Calvert Street. From there, the path transitions to the Rock Island Trail, heading south to a turnaround point clearly marked at Old Cheney. The final stretch of the race takes runners back through the scenic Rock Island Trail toward the finish line.
The 5K route starts and finishes near the Auld Pavilion. It takes runners through Antelope Park toward Normal Boulevard and S. Cotner Boulevard. Participants then join the Billy Wolff Trail, passing the Water Tower Condos and crossing Memorial Drive. The final segment utilizes the Rock Island Trail and the Garfield Street bridge ramp to return to the pavilion. The 1 mile run/walk follows a similar start, using the Billy Wolff Trail and the Garfield Street bridge to complete a loop back to the finish line.
