Lincoln Presidential Half Marathon

The Lincoln Presidential Half Marathon takes place on Saturday, April 11, 2026, in Springfield, Illinois. The event starts at the Old State Capitol at 1 E Old State Capitol Plaza.

The race is a USATF certified half marathon course that passes by multiple historical sites associated with Abraham Lincoln. The route passes the Lincoln-Herndon Law Offices, the only home Lincoln owned, Oak Ridge cemetery where he is buried, a city park named after him, and finishes near the historic Union Train station and the Abraham Lincoln Museum and Library.

Packet pickup is available on Friday from 4pm–8pm and on race morning from 6:30am–7:15am at the Old State Capitol. An expo with vendors will be held on Friday. Registration closes at 7:00am on race day. The race has a time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
