Event Overview

The Lincoln Mile takes place on Saturday, August 15, 2026, in the Northwest Neighborhood of Delaware, Ohio. The start line is at the top of Lincoln Avenue near the Delaware Hayes tennis courts. The finish line is in Mingo Park.

Course Details

The event consists of four separate one-mile races held in heats. The course runs straight through a historic neighborhood and finishes with a half-mile downhill section into Mingo Park.

Event Heats

The event is divided into multiple heats:

• High School Challenge Mile: For participants aged 12-18.
• Community Open Mile: Open to all ages, with a suggested minimum age of 7.
• Elite Women Mile: Separate heat with a suggested qualifying time of 5:45 for the mile.
• Elite Men Mile: Separate heat with a suggested qualifying time of 5:00 for the mile.
