Event overview
The 49th Annual Lincoln Marathon and Half Marathon will take place on Sunday, May 3, 2026, in Lincoln, Nebraska. The event is organized by the Lincoln Track Club, a volunteer organization that has promoted running in Lincoln since 1975. The event program includes multiple races and a challenge for participants.

Race weekend and logistics
Race weekend features a Runner’s Expo and packet pickup at the Cornhusker Marriott (333 South 13th Street) and an additional race-day packet pickup location at Cook Pavilion on the University of Nebraska campus (14th & Vine Streets). Packet pickup includes the participant shirt, a race bib that doubles as a timing chip, and safety pins. A shirt exchange is available during early packet pickup and after the race at the Champions Club headquarters tent.
Bag check is available at Cook Pavilion, and all checked bags are transported to a Bag Claim location beyond the finish line at the Stadium Drive Parking Garage. The finish area is at the University of Nebraska Champions Club (707 Stadium Drive); spectators are advised to plan parking downtown and walk to the finish area due to road closures.
