Lincoln Marathon and Half Marathon - May 3, 2026
The 49th Annual Lincoln Marathon and Half Marathon takes place in Lincoln, Nebraska. The event is organized by the Lincoln Track Club, a volunteer organization that has promoted running in Lincoln since 1975. Multiple race distances are offered.

Race weekend includes a Runner’s Expo and packet pickup at the Cornhusker Marriott, an additional packet pickup and bag check at the University of Nebraska Cook Pavilion, and a bag claim area beyond the finish at the Stadium Drive Parking Garage. At packet pickup participants receive the official participant shirt and a race envelope that contains the bib and timing chip. Photo ID is not required for packet pickup; the registered athlete’s name, bib number, and birth date are sufficient. A friend may pick up a packet with that same information. Participants found to transfer or sell their bib will be disqualified from current Lincoln Track Club events and for one additional year.
A community pasta meal and blessing is offered near St. Mary’s Catholic Church on the eve of the race; preregistration is not required and a free-will donation is appreciated. Hotels in Lincoln offer special pricing and several properties are within walking distance of the start area. The nearest airports are Lincoln Municipal Airport and Omaha Eppley Airfield; Amtrak serves the Lincoln Haymarket District. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
