The Lincoln Marathon and Half Marathon is an annual road race in Lincoln, Nebraska organized by the Lincoln Track Club, a volunteer organization that has promoted running in the city since 1975. Race weekend logistics include packet pickup and an expo at the Cornhusker Marriott, with an additional packet pickup and bag check at Cook Pavilion on the University of Nebraska campus. Checked bags are transported to Bag Claim at the Stadium Drive Parking Garage, and the finish area is on the University of Nebraska grounds north of Mueller Tower. A timed kids' race starts at the Nebraska State Capitol during the weekend schedule. Spectators are welcome at the finish area, but roads near the finish are closed for race activities and spectators are advised to park downtown and walk to view the finish.
