Lincoln Marathon and Half Marathon
The 49th Annual Lincoln Marathon and Half Marathon takes place on May 3, 2026 in Lincoln, Nebraska. The event spans a race weekend with an expo, packet pickup, bag check, and awards ceremony. Packet pickup and the runner’s expo are held at the Cornhusker Marriott on Saturday, with a final packet pickup and bag check at Cook Pavilion on race day. All checked bags are transported to Bag Claim at the Stadium Drive Parking Garage beyond the finish line. Spectators are asked to park downtown and walk to the finish area because some roads will be closed for race activities.
Race packets include the official participant shirt and a race bib that also serves as the timing chip; safety pins are provided. Participant shirt exchange is available during early packet pickup and after the race at the Champions Club tent. The race is organized by the Lincoln Track Club, a volunteer organization promoting running in Lincoln since 1975. Lodging blocks and hotel options are listed for race weekend; several hotels are within walking distance of the start line, including the Cornhusker Marriott and nearby downtown hotels. Travel options to Lincoln include driving from I-80, Lincoln Municipal Airport and Omaha Eppley Airfield, and Amtrak service to the Lincoln Haymarket District.
