Event details

Lincoln Culture Run I is a six-hour timed running event hosted by Circuit Running Events Ltd at Lincoln Road, Skellingthorpe, Lincoln LN6 5UU. Entry fees are between £26 and £28. Maximum entries are 60 and entries close on 06/02/2026. The event is licensed by the TRA and run under UKA Athletics rules. After finishing, entrants receive a bespoke Lincoln Culture Run I themed medal and a goody bag.

The organiser states maximum distances permitted under rules by age group: Age 12-13: 5,000m; Age 14-15: 6,000m; Age 16: 10,000m; Age 17: 25,000m; Age 18-19: 45,000m; Age 20 and over: no maximum distance.

Course and facilities

The course is an out-and-back loop mainly along an old railway line on tarmac, with a small field section at the start and finish of each lap. Each full lap measures 3.28 miles and there is a 5k turn point; a half marathon equals four laps of the 3.28 mile course and a marathon equals eight laps. A table at the end of each lap provides water, squash, fizzy drinks and a variety of food. Toilets are at the pavilion on the playing field.
