Sherwood New Year 10k, 5k and Junior Run
The Sherwood New Year 10k, 5k and Junior Run is a trail running event held at Sherwood Pines, Edwinstowe, Mansfield, Nottinghamshire on 17 January 2027. The courses use forest trails in Sherwood Forest and are described as multi terrain and undulating.

Detailed route maps and GPX files are available for the courses. The event highlights forest scenery and a separate junior race. Included for entrants are a bespoke medal, free photographs and trophies and prizes for leading runners. Event information will be sent to registered entrants prior to race day.
On-the-day entry fees are listed on the event page and are subject to availability; the junior run is listed at £7. Vehicle access is from the B6030 east of Kings Clipstone and parking at the event is included in the cost of the ticket. Public transport options note bus numbers 14 and 15 to Kirton or Walesby from Mansfield bus station, with services approximately every half hour Monday to Saturday and hourly on Sundays.
