Lima Bean 5K
The Lima Bean 5K is a USATF certified 5K run and walk held as part of the Lima Crossroads Festival on August 1, 2026. The course starts and ends at Lima Crossroads Church, 1574 Rochester St, Lima, NY 14485, and follows a route through the outskirts of Lima before returning to the village.
Timing is electronic with chip timing provided by HourGlass Works and a digital display clock at the finish. A water station is located at the halfway mark. There is a two hour course cutoff measured from the race start. Overall awards for male and female finishers and age group awards are given.
Registration opened September 28, 2025 and closes April 30, 2026; the registration fee is $25. Participants registered before July 15 receive a t-shirt. Families are welcome; children under 8 may participate free but receive no bib or t-shirt. Runners with strollers are asked to start toward the back. Pets are not permitted.
Parking is available at the Crossroads Church. Overflow parking is at Mark Tubbs Park about one half mile away; participants should take care when crossing 15A and avoid parking on lawns or blocking driveways. Attendees are asked to bring a non perishable food item with no glass for the Lima Food Pantry.
Proceeds support keeping the festival free and benefit local charities including Lima Volunteer Ambulance, Teresa House, and Friends in Service Helping of Honeoye Falls Lima. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
