Lighthouse Run - Cameron, LA
Lighthouse Run takes place on November 14, 2026 at 101 Barataria in Cameron, Louisiana. The event is described as a beach run, walk, and fundraiser that supports local lighthouse restoration.
Distances offered:
- 1K - $20 registration fee; timing recorded only for the top three.
- 5K - $25 registration fee.
- 10K - $25 registration fee.
Registration opens April 5, 2026. Registration for the 5K and 10K closes August 13, 2026; registration for the 1K closes October 10, 2026. Fees are stated per distance as above.
Benefits from the event go to the Cameron Preservation Alliance - Sabine Pass Lighthouse Inc, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to restoring the Sabine Pass Lighthouse located at the southwest corner of Cameron Parish.
T-shirts are listed as the giveaway item for participants. Participation medals will be distributed and no age group awards will be given. Top three male and female finishers will receive awards.
