Event Overview
The Lighthouse Loop is an open water swim event in Lake Michigan, near the mouth of the Menominee River.
Course and Details
The main swim covers 2.3 miles. It starts at Red Arrow Park in Marinette, Wisconsin. Swimmers head past the lighthouse at the mouth of the Menomonee River and loop back to the start at Red Arrow Park.
Participant Requirements
Swimmers must be 14 years or older to participate. A parent or guardian must sign an additional waiver for any participant under 18. All swimmers are required to wear a wetsuit. A doctor's written permission is required to swim without one and must be received by race officials at least 7 days in advance. Participants must also use a swim buoy during the event.
