Lighthouse Lookout 5k & 10k
The Lighthouse Lookout 5k & 10k takes place in Point Lookout State Park, located in Scotland, Maryland. The venue is situated on a peninsula in St. Mary’s County, positioned between the Chesapeake Bay and the Potomac River. The location is characterized by its historical background, having served as a camp that held over 50,000 Confederate soldiers during the Civil War.
Participants can choose between two primary race distances:
- 5k
- 10k
In addition to the in-person races, several virtual options are available, including categories that provide a medal or a combination of a medal and shirt.
