Light Up the Night for Noelle
Light Up the Night for Noelle is an annual evening run and walk held at 1200 Lake Chipican Drive in Sarnia, with a course that goes through Canatara Park and Waterfront Park. The event offers multiple distance options and a dedicated kids program that completes a full marathon distance over the summer with the final 1 kilometre run on race night.
Distances include:
- 10K run, chip-timed, same 5KM loop run two times.
- 5K run, chip-timed, includes medal and swag.
- 5K walk, non-timed, includes medal and swag.
- Bare Bones 5K, no chip timing, no medal, no swag.
- 1KM Kids race, chip-timed, for ages 3–12.
Race services and features vary by entry type; some entries include a chipped bib, medal, and swag while a lower cost option omits those items. The Kids Marathon program runs across the summer so children accumulate the equivalent of a marathon distance before finishing the final 1 kilometre during the event. Proceeds benefit Noelle's Gift, supporting students in the Sarnia-Lambton and Chatham-Kent areas. The event lists fundraising progress and shows participant totals; group registrations of three or more receive an automatic 10% discount and entrants receive a free T-shirt as noted in event details.
