Light Up the Night for Noelle
Light Up the Night for Noelle is an annual evening run and walk held at 1200 Lake Chipican Drive in Sarnia, Ontario. The event features adult and youth races along courses that pass through Canatara Park and Waterfront Park. Proceeds support Noelle's Gift, a program assisting students in the Sarnia-Lambton and Chatham-Kent areas.
Event formats include:
- 10K Run - chip timed, two laps of the 5K loop; includes medal and swag.
- 5K Run - chip timed; includes medal and swag.
- 5K Walk - non timed; includes medal and swag.
- Bare Bones 5K - walk or run without chip timing, medal, or swag.
- 1KM Kids Run - ages 3–12; chip timed, one lap around the Terry Fox Loop; includes medal and swag.
The Kids Marathon program has participants accumulate 41.2 km over the summer with coaching and volunteer support, and the final 1 km is completed on the event night. Race kit pick-up is available at the Beach Pavilion. The event uses chip timing for select races and includes illuminated race-themed swag. A 10% automatic discount applies for registrations of three or more people, and a free t-shirt is indicated as included. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
