Light up the Night for Noelle
Light up the Night for Noelle is an annual evening run and walk at 1200 Lake Chipican Drive in Sarnia. The event uses routes through Canatara Park and Waterfront Park and offers timed and non timed options across multiple distances. Proceeds benefit Noelle’s Gift, a fundraising effort that supports students in the Sarnia‑Lambton and Chatham‑Kent areas.
Race options include:
- 10 km run, chip timed, two laps of a 5 km loop
- 5 km run, chip timed, includes medal and swag
- 5 km walk, non timed, includes medal and swag
- 1 km kids race, chip timed, for ages 3 to 12
A low cost Bare Bones 5 km option is offered without a medal, chip, or swag. Some entries include a race shirt. A Kids Marathon program runs over the summer as a guided participant challenge to accumulate 41.2 kilometres, with the final 1 km completed on race night; the program is supported by coaches and community volunteers. Event services include chip timing for selected races, event medals, and on site race kit pick up at the Beach Pavilion. Fundraising and team participation features are part of the event structure.
