Light Up the Lake 2026
Light Up the Lake 2026 is an evening walk and run at Bryn Bach Park in Tredegar on Friday 9 October 2026. The event aims to shine the light on Neuroendocrine Cancer and offers both walking and running options around the park lake.
Adult and child entry categories are offered with the following prices: adult entry is £15 and includes an entry pack and a medal; child entry is £5 and includes a medal. Children must be accompanied at the event by an adult who has also entered.
Participants may choose between two course options:
- 2K 1 lap of the lake
- 10K 5 laps of the lake
Adult participants are required to wear a head torch. Registration packs and medals are provided to participants. Glow in the dark or light up attire is encouraged; no naked flames are allowed. Entries open on 1 September 2026. The event format permits walking or running on the listed distances and specifies age categories for adults and children.
