Light up the lake 2026
Light up the lake 2026 takes place on Friday 9 October 2026 at Bryn Bach Park, Tredegar, NP22 3AY. The event is themed to shine a light on Neuroendocrine Cancer and offers both walking and running options.
Participants choose between the following course options:
- 10K - 5 laps of the lake
- 2K - 1 lap of the lake
Entry categories and fees are published for adults and children. Adult entries are for age 16 and over and list a fee of £15 which includes an entry pack and medal. Child entries are for age 15 and under and list a fee of £5 which includes a medal. Children must be accompanied on the event by an adult who has also entered.
Head torches are required for adults. Registration packs and medals are provided to participants. Glow in the dark or light up attire is encouraged and naked flames are not allowed. Entries close on 8 October 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
