Event Overview
The Light Up the Corners event is a nighttime running party and fundraiser. It takes place on Saturday, August 15, 2026, in Peachtree Corners, Georgia. The event features three options: a 4 Mile Glow Run, a 1k Twilight Trot, and a Virtual Runner option.
Race Details
Both in-person events are held at night. The 1k Twilight Trot begins at 8:00 PM EDT. The 4 Mile Glow Run begins at 8:30 PM EDT. Both races start and finish at the center fountain area at The Forum on Peachtree Parkway.
The course is lined with blinking lights for illumination. Participants are given glow items to wear. There are contests for the "glowiest" man, woman, boy, and girl. Strollers are permitted but must start at the back of the pack for safety.
Registration and Logistics
Registration for individual events costs $40, with prices increasing after July 30, 2026. Team registration is available with discounted rates for teams of four or more. Packet pickup and race weekend registration are available on Friday, August 14th and Saturday, August 15th from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM at The Forum.
Registration includes a performance t-shirt, glow items, entry to a pre- and post-race party with a live DJ, food, drinks, and activities. All finishers receive a medal.
Fundraising
Proceeds from the event benefit at-risk children and families in the community, supporting life-enhancing programs at the Fowler YMCA. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
