Light the Way 5K - Benefiting Make A Wish Georgia
The Light the Way 5K is an inaugural community road race held on Saturday, March 28, 2026 in Dallas, Georgia. The event benefits Make A Wish Georgia and a local Paulding County family. The course starts and finishes adjacent to the Paulding County Cultural Affairs Recreation Center at 210 Paulding Lane and travels through Downtown Dallas.
The event includes a dedicated kids zone in the recreation center gymnasium. Post-race activities listed by the organizer include on-site food trucks, an awards ceremony, and a family-friendly movie. Registration includes an event shirt. Pre-registration packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, March 27 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM in the lobby of the Paulding County Cultural Affairs Recreation Center office.
Entry fees are listed as $30 for an individual and $50 per couple. Race parking is available at the Paulding County Cultural Affairs Recreation Center and at Dallas Elementary School a short walk away. Prizes will be awarded to the top three female and top three male finishers and to the top masters female and top masters male finisher.
