Light The Darkness 5K & 1 Mile Glow Run
The event takes place on September 19, 2026 at Saint Ferdinand Park in Florissant, Missouri. It offers two course options for runners and walkers:
- 5K
- 1 Mile
All participants receive a custom event t-shirt and a finishers medal. Additional glow items are available for purchase. The event theme focuses on suicide prevention awareness.
Registration is available online or by submitting a form at the JFK or James J. Eagan Community Centers. Entry fees are $25 through August 25, 2026 and $30 thereafter through race day. T-shirt sizes can be guaranteed only for registrations completed by August 25, 2026. Packet pick-up occurs at the James J. Eagan Center on September 16 and 17, and on race day at Pavilion 4 in Saint Ferdinand Park.
One hundred percent of net proceeds will be donated to two local mental health and suicide prevention organizations, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and CHADS Coalition for Mental Health, to support outreach programs in local schools.
