Light The Darkness 5K & 1 Mile Glow Run
Light The Darkness 5K & 1 Mile Glow Run is a community running event held at St Ferdinand Park in Florissant, Missouri, focused on suicide prevention awareness. The event offers both a 5K course and a 1 Mile course open to runners and walkers.

Registration is available online or by submitting a form at the JFK or James J. Eagan Community Centers. Early registration is listed at $25 with a later increase to $30; t-shirt sizes can only be guaranteed for registrations received by August 29. Additional glow items are available for sale at the event. All participants receive a custom event t-shirt and a finishers medal.
Packet pick-up is scheduled at the James J. Eagan Center (1 James J. Eagan Drive) on September 17 and September 18, with day-of packet pick-up at Saint Ferdinand Park at Pavilion 4 near the sand volleyball courts. Specific packet pick-up times are provided by the organizer.
One hundred percent of the net proceeds will be donated to local mental health and suicide prevention organizations to fund outreach programs in local schools, including the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and CHADS Coalition for Mental Health.
