Centerstone's 10th Annual Life;Story 5K Run/Walk for Suicide Prevention - Missouri
Centerstone’s Life;Story event in Independence, Missouri, is a community run and walk that supports suicide prevention and raises funds for mental health and addiction services. The event offers in-person and virtual options and includes activities for children.

Registrations for the in-person 5K and virtual 5K include the official 2027 Life;Story race shirt, finisher’s medal, and a souvenir race bib. In-person 5K registrants receive a chip-timed race bib and a professionally managed racecourse. Youth ages 5 to 17 receive a discounted 5K registration price of $25; standard 5K and virtual registration fees are $40. The Kids Dash is not timed; participants receive a race shirt and Kids Dash finisher’s medal. Virtual participants receive the shirt, medal, and bib; shipping is not included in the registration price and packets registered before March 22 will be shipped prior to the event.
The event emphasizes community resources and support; programming at the venue has included community vendors, mental health and military specific resources, and event merchandise.
