LifeSong Dash
The LifeSong Dash is a road race and family fun day held at Halfmoon Town Park on June 6, 2026. The event is a USATF sanctioned race and serves as a community fundraising event for LifeSong, Inc., an organization that supports nearly 225 adults with disabilities and their families. The day combines timed road racing with community activities and on-site event features.
Distances offered
- Junior Dash: 1 mile for children 12 and under
- LifeSong Dash: 3.1 miles (5K road race)
- Members Dash: 3.1 miles for LifeSong program members
Registration fees are listed for each category: the Junior Dash fee is $15, the LifeSong Dash fee is $35, and LifeSong program members may register for the Members Dash at no cost. Course route files are available as a GPX download and as a Google Maps route.
The event includes a fundraising component tied to a 2026 fundraising challenge and a Greenhouse Project intended to create hands on opportunities for the individuals LifeSong serves. In 2025 the Dash raised over $45,000; net proceeds have been used to support office renovation and expansion at Plaza 8 in Clifton Park and related growth plans.
