LifeSong Dash overview
The LifeSong Dash is a community 5K road race and family fun day held at Halfmoon Town Park. The event supports LifeSong, Inc. and its services for adults with differing abilities and their families. It is a USATF 2026 sanctioned event and includes a community celebration alongside the races.
The event offers multiple race options and fees:
- Junior Dash : one mile, registration fee $15
- LifeSong Dash 5K : 3.1 miles, registration fee $30
- Members Dash : 3.1 miles, no registration fee for LifeSong program members
Fundraising is a key part of the event. In 2025 the Dash raised over $45,000 to support LifeSong projects and facility improvements. Proceeds have been used to help renovate and expand LifeSong offices at Plaza 8 in Clifton Park and to fund program development. The organization also promoted a 2026 fundraising challenge tied to a Greenhouse Project.
