Event information
The race day is scheduled for January 17, 2026, at Coventry Oaks Farm in Palatka, Florida. The event is presented by Life Distance, 5K and Fun Run and is listed as the 7th anniversary set of runs and walks. Proceeds will benefit A Women's Resource Center, an interdenominational evangelical ministry that provides counseling, limited ultrasounds, material services, and related programs.
Courses, entry and amenities
The event program includes the following distances and options:
- 6.8 miles (Rice Creek Ramble)
- 5K (Pray Like Bay 5K)
- 1 mile (Fun Run and Walk)
- Meal only option
Entry fees start at $45 for the Rice Creek Ramble, $35 for the 5K, $30 for the Fun Run and Walk, and $15 for the meal-only option. Fees are subject to increases as the event approaches and on race day.
Both the Rice Creek Ramble and the 5K use out-and-back courses on the paved, shaded Palatka-to-Lake Butler State Trail. Water stops will be available along the course. All events include a post-race BBQ chicken meal. Registered participants receive a T-shirt and a finisher's medal; shirt availability and sizes are only guaranteed to those who register by January 1, 2026. Awards will be given for overall male and female finishers and for multiple age-group categories.
